Bio


Matthew Ober is a filmmaker, editor, and programmer based in Philadelphia, PA.  His films have been screened at festivals in the United States and Canada. His 2023 documentary "Nothing Left Undone: The Art of G” premiered at the 2023 Philadelphia FIlm Festival, getting honorable mention for best local short. 

He co-hosts Bok Movie Club, a monthly film screening in South Philly. He is a member of the Philadelphia video art collective Lino Kino, which has collaborated with the ICA, PAFA, and Cinespeak. He is a the co-founder of Neighbourhood Film Festival, based in Montreal. He has a BFA in film production from Concordia University in Montreal. 

His favorite item of clothing was this Bee shirt (by Allen Yu, pictured left), until he destroyed it in the wash.
